Be The Link NY Gala
Saturday, December 1, 2012 World AIDS Day.

We gather on this day in remembrance and support to those living with HIV and those we have lost. This is a celebration of life - that we can join together and put an end to AIDS.

The exclusive invite-only formal affair was held in a spacious 6,000 square feet Tribeca building. Completed in 1896 in the style of a French Renaissance chateau, 87 Lafayette street was home to the FDNY's Engine Co. 31 for almost 80 years. The architect, Napoleon LeBrun, is known for his design of the Met Life Tower and several prominent churches in New York and Philadelphia.

The gala theme was the winter wonderland of Central Park: trees sparkling with lights and a light snow swirling at the guests feet as they move through the space in their glamorous attire. For entertainment, the beautiful Sylvia Tosun performed.

Be The Link LA Gala
Thursday, February 21, 2013

The exclusive invite only black tie affair was held at Bardot Hollywood. The Spanish colonial theater at the famed corner of Hollywood & Vine has been a show-business epicenter since opening in 1927.

Influenced by the roaring 20’s, Bardot boasts three different spaces in which to gather. The Lounge Bar features tufted banquettes against dimly lit golden ochre walls. The Courtyard rests under the stars with its charcoal wood floors, vintage oil paintings and rich cordovan color walls. The tented bar adds to the oasis ambience with its magnificent textiles, sconces, and chandeliers.

The theme was love and the power it has to diminish the stigma of HIV/AIDS. The entertainment opened with an incredible live performance by young rising star Jesaiah Baer, recently on American Idol. Also performing was the talented and charming Hannah Taylor followed the sultry, enchanting sound of Colette Falla. The evening capped off with a sensational performance by Billboard Dance Hit beauty Amy Weber singing her new single Warrior featuring DJ Ravi on drums.
